As a beta launch, Silobreaker Premium includes automatic machine translation of all Dutch, French, Spanish and Arabic articles. Just click on the headline of an article and the document page will display the headline and first few lines of the article in both the original language and machine translated into English. For all languages, a translate on demand feature is available.

The benefit of our machine translation, besides the obvious side-by-side display as outlined above, is that you can search in one language and get results in multiple languages. Silobreaker’s popular entity extraction and relational analysis will also work both within and across languages and are displayed as usual through Silobreaker Network and other visualizations.

Silobreaker, an international leader in cyber threat intelligence, has been awarded the official SC Labs Approval by SC Magazine.

The designation is awarded to those tools that the SC Magazine reviews team feel are extraordinary stand-outs in the information security industry. It also distinguishes Silobreaker as one of the very few vendors used in SC Magazine’s live network.

Clients are given deep visibility into the context and motivations behind attacks, helping intelligence professionals to understand and even predict future threats.

Dr Peter Stephenson, Technical Editor of SC Magazine, celebrated Silobreaker as ‘a powerful open source intelligence tool’ with its ‘biggest benefit’ being the context that it provides to cyber security issues.

SC Magazine concluded that they ‘have been using Silobreaker in the SC Labs for several months and it is a real workhorse in our intelligence analysis tasks’ due to its ‘significant reach and analytical capability’, as well as ‘its ability to develop contexts’.

Silobreaker releases new geo-mapping tool: Hot Spots

$

Silobreaker has today announced the launch of its much-anticipated new Hot Spots tool.

Silobreaker has developed a tool that displays events within their geographical context, helping clients to see the bigger picture. Customers will be able to see not only ‘what’ is happening, but also ‘where’ it is happening.

How does it work? Every time you make a query, Hot Spots extracts the geo-locations from each result and displays them on an interactive map.

The ability to zoom in and out will allow for both global and local views of events, while clicking on a particular Hot Spot will reveal the data and its source from which the geo-location has been extracted as well as related people, companies, places and other entities.

Hot Spots saves clients time and effort by displaying all the information in one user-friendly view and showing them where to concentrate their attention. Hot Spots is a great time-saver for monitoring and analyzing geo-rich events.

All existing and new accounts have been updated automatically with the new tool. If you would like more information, please email sales@silobreaker.com
